I recall vividly the hours I spent as a child, fascinated by the ladybugs in my backyard. This fascination inspired my 'Ladybug Queen' story, a piece that intertwines my empathy for both human and natural worlds with a whimsical touch. I used line weight to illustrate the flow of hair and the softness of the sweater. Additionally, I utilised halftone to capture the mesmerizing flight pattern of the ladybugs. The artwork began as ink on paper and was later enhanced digitally, allowing for a refined merging of traditional and modern techniques.
